How to use webcam as security camera or CCTV

All we know the web cam is a live casting device , but we can use it as security camera, cctv and camcorder etc.. in a simple trick using VLC player ,

if not VLC player in your PC just download it Follow the step by steps

1. Open the vlc player- select media – select open capture device
2. Select capture device on tab – select directshow
3. Click on play in the bottom

4.Click on record button (If not record button click on tools -select customize – add the record button)

5. After recording you can view the videos on documents – videos
